Jillian Vanselow founded Core Recovery in 2013 as a behavioral health treatment center to meet a need she felt was preventing people with mental health issues from fully recovering. What she saw was a fragmented treatment approach, where various providers were treating different aspects of a person’s mental health needs. That just does not work. Core Recovery takes a different view. It provides an integrated approach focused on treating the whole person, including any underlying issues causing undesired behavior, such as drug or alcohol abuse. When delivered in a professional, caring, and trustful environment, this integrated approach has proven to be a highly successful treatment experience for Core Recovery patients
