How to cancel best buy membership

Best Buy is one of the largest consumer electronics retailers in the United States. “My Best Buy” is a rewards-based program that is based on purchases made in-store and through their site.

How to cancel an account: Contact Member Services by email mybestbuy@bestbuy.com or by phone at 1-888-BEST BUY 

According to the membership FAQ, cancellation may take 6-8 weeks to finalize. Upon cancellation membership will be inactivated. If membership is canceled or deactivated, the account holder will receive reward certificates up to the $5 level and will lose any remaining points. For example, if the member has 300 points, you will receive a $5 reward certificate (for 250 points) and lose 50 points.
