Rajyalakshmi Heritage Banaras Sarees

Saris made in the ancient city of Varanasi, often called Benares (Banaras), are called Banarasi saris. The saris are exquisite, including silk that is both lovely and luxuriously embroidered with gold and silver brocade or zari. Beautiful and exquisitely made, Banarasi silk sarees are world-renown. The ancient weaving method used to weave these sarees has been handed down through many generations in the holy city of Varanasi in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. From its humble beginnings as a home-based enterprise in Hyderabad in 2016, Rajyalakshmi has grown to include freestanding stores in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, and Jayanagar, Bengaluru.
